We offer a range of specialised services tailored to meet your individual needs. Our approach is focused on understanding and responding to what you require, providing effective and practical solutions. Video support Australia wide. Visits within Metro Melbourne.
Infant and Child Sleep and Settling Consulting
We offer a range of sleep and settling services tailored to meet your individual needs. We provide a holistic approach to sleep, understanding there is more to sleep that could be affecting your child. Our Sleep and Settling is through responsive settling. We do not use the "cry it out" method.
Child Development/ Play
Child development in the early years through secure attachment/bonding and play based experiences are important to your child's brain development, attachment/bonding, physical development and cognitive/language development. Don't forget starting solids, this is milestone with your baby. At Little Steps, we have created a package that will support you to understand age appropriate development and how to support your child through play.
Behaviour Support
Behaviour can be challenging when we are struggling to understand what our child is trying to communicate to us. At Little Steps, we have created a support package that can support you to understand why your child is displaying these behaviours and what strategies you can try to support your child through them.
We also understand children can require more support than we as parents can offer. I also offer support to apply to the NDIS, working with you and any other relevant services.
Meet the Founder
Madelaine Duke
Hi, I'm Madelaine. I generally go by Maddy. I am the founder of Little Steps Family Support. I began this business to support families through their early parenting journey. Early parenting can be one of the most challenging times as a parent, but with the right support and guidance you can get through it!
I am a passionate practitioner who has worked in early parenting for 15+ years. I have a Graduate Certificate in Social Science Prenatal and Postnatal Support, Victorian Model of Care certification in Sleep and Settling, WWCC and a Full First Aid.
Little bit about me... I am a married mum with 3 beautiful children and fur-babies. I love spending time with my family and having fun. You will find me out playing sport and dancing with my children whenever i get a chance.
